If you didn’t notice from my pics, it’s pet friendly! Dogs are allowed – which we obviously love (under 25lbs with a cleaning fee). They have a ton of holiday brunches and seasonal specials. If you live in Southern California – definitely check out their specials. Even though it’s a fairly large property, it feels cozy and welcoming. I love that it still has some retro vibes and feels kind of nostalgic. The hotel was originally built in the mid 60’s, but completely upgraded in 2013. If you want to take a trip off property – it’s located near a ton of breweries and restaurants too. It has a championship golf course, multiple restaurants, a full service marina with boat rentals, a pool and my favorite, hot tubs! It’s the perfect lakefront setting for unwinding with family, a romantic weekend, a fun girls trip or just a last minute getway. The resort is located on Lake San Marcos, in northern San Diego. It’s only about a 30 minute drive from us, but we instantly felt like we were transported to a luxe lakefront home (with tons of amenities). This past week, we reserved one of their Two Bedroom Cottages and took a little trip up north with our friends. So I didn’t get a chance to share much of our trip with you guys.
